Interested in running your own business?

Bolton Library and Business Bolton are running a free Starting Up as a Market Trader event on Tuesday 9th September from 5.30pm till 7.30pm

Starting your business on a market stall or a pop-up shop can be a good way to find out if running your own business is for you.

The aim of this event is for you to find out more from a successful market trader: how they set up; the costs; the hours; the legal side; dealing with stock; selling skills; the competition; cashflow and lots more relevant information.

The event is part of a series of free events that Bolton Library will be hosting to showcase ideas for business start-up for what you can do and provide some helpful advice on how to get started.

The guest speaker will be Nicola Quinn the owner of Wonderland Cakes in Stockport. Established in 2010, Wonderland Cakes creates bespoke cakes for special occasions and bakes and sells a range of pastries and desserts from its premises in Stockport town centre. Nicola knows the journey of becoming a market trader well.
