 Oldham is a culturally diverse and vibrant community situated just outside Manchester on the edge of the Pennines. The Reference and Information service is based at Oldham Library and Lifelong Learning Centre. This award-winning building was opened in 2006 and offers an enhanced service to the people of Oldham and the wider regional and business communities.

The building is also home to Gallery Oldham, one of the most progressive galleries in the North West.
