Looking at regular problems that occur and cause issues, conflict and difficulty within companies. We will look at ways to deal with these issues and ensuring you protect yourselves.
Sickness
· Long term sickness how to effectively deal with it
· Short-term sickness and capability
· Protecting yourself from disability discrimination claims
· Changing contractual Sick Pay schemes
Grievances
· How best to deal with grievances informally
· Importance of a consistent formal process
Investigating misconduct/disciplinary
· Importance of a full investigation
· Use of contractual policies such as Search policy
· Fair and Effective Disciplinary meetings
